I've been using WMQI in anger for the past twelve months. Prior to that I was exposed to a variety of middleware products.
I have two questions :
1. Is anyone using Neon (oops, I mean Nnsy) F & R still ?
I know the functionality
- It's still available in the latest IBM integrator
- Also available as a separate product from Sybase
2. More generally, I'm looking for cheap 3rd party middleware for Unix and maybe Intel which works with MQSeries and doesn't require deep coding skills. Cheap to me would be GBP10,000 per CPU licence.
Middleware in this context being strictly transform + routing.

I have/and do work with NEON extensively. It's a pretty good product for easily converting or transforming data from one system to another. Both mapping data from one format to another and setting up the rules to route it to and from various systems is faily easy and straight forward. As most product, it does have some limitations but it is very easy to learn and use and requires no programming skills.
