I have just set my MAXCHANNELS paramater to 200 and would like to simulate 200+ client connections to test if it actually worked. Any ideas on how I could do this? or any other way I may be able to determine that the client connections are 'capped' at 200?
Many thanks |

Quick suggestion would be to run 200+ client apps, may be amqsputc's without disconnecting them.
Cheers

That worked, I created a batch file with the 'set MQSERVER' variable and an amqsputc following. I then called this batch file with another one containing start /B ***.bat (repeated 280 times)
It worked, and proved my MAXCHANNELS was working. (I received a 2059 after 250 channles were active)
Thanks for the advice! |

I set MAXCHANNELS to 250, not 200.... just goes to show you guys really do pay attention to detail!
