I am using a MQInput node for taking in a string message,
and need to parse the input message to form an output xml message.
Please let me know, how to get the contents of the Input Message?
I can use string functions like LENGTH and SUBSTRING but how do I reference to the input message?
OutputRoot.XML.Test.A = SUBSTRING(source_string from 0 for 3);
Can I use InputRoot instead of the source_string or there is some other way to reference to the input message?
Thanks! |

Try either of these two manuals to get you started: Working with Messages or ESQL Reference |

I Don't know what do really mean by parse in the above statement.
But In MQSI Sence parsing a String means you need to create a message set there would be a message type ,message,compound type,elements....
As Jeff told this is time for you to open up some manuals.especially working with messages manual |
