But the memo.ptf file says 5.3 CSD05. Is it 6 or 5?

downloaded is at CSD05. Apparently the link is incorrect, and also the README is not being updated.
This is in the process of being corrected, but in the meantime you can install MACV, and then apply CSD06 to bring it up to the latest maintenance level.
