Does anyone know if the .NET interface can be used to talk to MQSeries 2.2. If not, what would be the best way to talk to MQSeries 2.2 from a .NET client. |

If the client application is written using the MQ .NET classes available in 5.3 CSD06, and the client app runs on a machine where MQClient 5.3 CSD06 is installed, then it can connect to any Queue Manager on any other server it wants, even if that other server has an old version of MQ.
Of course, you will not be able to use new functionality introduced since that old version of MQ, but basis MQ will work.
Up above where I said 5.3 CSD06, you could substitute 5.3 CSD05, but that is buggy from a .NET perspective when compared to CSD06.
You could also substitute the MA7P support pack for MQ 5.2 or 5.3 version prior to 5.3 CSD05, but that support pack is not supported. Upgrade, for free, the MQClient to 5.3 CSD06. _________________ Peter Potkay
