What about non-role based authorization, category authorization, Function authorization (i.e Staff Authority, Staff Autherization, Operation Authoirty etc).

My point is that unless you duplicate all of the MQWF Staff attributes in LDAP you may still need to use buildtime to maintain your staff objects.

I agree to your point that all the fields need to be duplicted if we want direct attribute mapping from ldap to fdl.

I haven't come that far in my implementation am doing on some sample fields only and also haven't worked on Category stuff.


If we go in that route,aren't we duplicating the effort of importing FDL's from LDAP Bridge and also doing some modifications on BT and importing that too..

Role based mapping of Employess is just one way of authorizing, while I am glad to see that this exists, I do not see how it will solve all of the authorization problems.

I too am not sure,as i go along probably i might be facing some problems which i will post here.
