Hi,
We are developing a VB COM with MS Soap Toolkit which would interact with WebSphere MQ. Are there any source code/samples available. We have downloaded the MA7N support pack, but there are no good samples.
Would appreciate if any of u guys have done some work in this area. This is a an urgent requirement and we are not able to get any leads ...all help is appreciated. Thanks. |

That's a pretty specific requirement.
There isn't anything in the software repository on this site that fits that bill.
But dealing with Soap and MQSeries should be pretty decoupled.
In other words, as long as you have a sample program showing how to use Soap, and another sample program showing how to get/put a message to MQSeries, you should be able to write an application which uses both.
You might want to describe in more detail what you are trying to accomplish, because it sounds like you expect MQSeries to somehow make Soap calls which it cannot do. _________________ Brandon Duncan

Here it is ...
1) Thru' VB COM, i'm able to generate the SOAP message.
2) There is an intermediate layer (VB 6.0 Web Service), which will just forward the request to MQ Queue based on WSDL ( <soap:address location='mqs:default@'/> )
Now, when i try to pass the SOAP enevlop to a web service method. It gives me, "Runtime error": Automation error, Unspecified error. What does this mean?
Early reply will be appreciated.
Thanks. |
