I deployed a message flow and recieved a BIP 1536S at 3:01 PM.
BIP1536S: Configuration Manager unable to register for internal subscriptions with broker GETMQ1.
Although the preceding deploy operation was successful, a subsequent attempt by the Configuration Manager to register for internal subscriptions with broker GETMQ1 was not successful. This means that the Control Center Operations view may not reliably show the correct status of the resources assigned to broker GETMQ1. The Configuration Manager also writes this message to the system event log, accompanied by other messages giving details of the problem.
The Application Event Viewer shows the following at 3:01 PM:
The description for Event ID ( 2066 ) in Source ( WMQIv210 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: GETMQ1, GETMQ1, 28c36d1d-f500-0000-0080-a7a1e2129f7e, ErrorHandling, 360.
The latest entry in the System Event Viewer showed the following at 11:05 AM:
DCOM got error "Server execution failed " from the computer PNET-GE-TAPP.ge.cec when attempting to activate the server:
{0B64C5FE-AB7B-4E67-835D-D987A3076C8B}
Can anyone help me understand what to do with this error?
Thanks, Lisa |

Lisa,
This is 3 different problems.
Firstly, BIP1536S. I presume you are seeing this in the Control Center log. Is the broker on a remote system? It is likely to be a permissions problem. As the error text states the deploy was successful. Check the system log there for errors that will give you more details.
For example we have had errors like "BIP7150E: Userid 'mqsiuid' not authorized to put to queue 'SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.REPLY' on queue manager 'CFG001X1'" which means you have to give authority for mqsiuid to access the transmission queue to the configmgr.
BIP2066E Broker &1 (UUID &2) unable to retrieve internal configuration response message for execution group &3.
The full description can be found in the messages manual. Again you need to look at the broker system log. Also, you should investigate why the system cannot find the message catalog to display the information. Do you have a full install on this machine or are you viewing events that happened remotely?
DCOM error - I have no idea. It doesn't seem WMQI related.
Cheers,
Vicky |

HI!
The broker is on a remote system.
The System log only shows the DCOM error. All others were warnings that had nothing to do with my deploy.
Yes, I am viewing the events that happened remotely.
Any other suggestions on what to look for or where to look?
Thanks, Lisa |

This post might help for the problems getting the error text:
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11014
I'm sure there is a way either in the manuals or other documentation to set up a system so that even if it does not have WMQI installed the eventvwr can be used with the relevant message catalog. But I can't remember where to find the info!
Is this a simple deploy? Or lots of execution groups etc. What platform is the broker on? I don't have any more ideas but I'm sure someone else will... |
