Hi,
I get error messages in the NNSYMessage.nml once for a while. It is:
DB Old Session Base|1528|2324|INFR|INFR|Error||FileIOObject::Open() - Failed to open file named './nnsyreg.dat' with mode 'rb'.
Does anybody know what's wrong of using NEON?
Thanks in advance for any your input .
Regards

has this worked before?
do you get it constantly or once in a while like you say?
where is your nnsyreg.dat located?
do you have different versions/multiple copies?

This is normal. NEON/NNSY first looks for the nnsyreg.dat file in the current directory (where you started the broker from). It does not find it so you get this error/warning. Then it goes on to actually use the NN_CONFIG_FILE_PATH environment variable to find the file and works - assuming that is defined.
So unless other stuff is failing then you do not have a problem. Try starting the broker from within the directory where you have your nnsyreg.dat file, then check the nml file.
Cheers,

Hi, there,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually another error message I got in the NNSYMessage.nml, also only once for a while, is something like:
DB Old Session Base|15581|14|MessageProcessor|1002|Error||Input format 'CA410_SwIC940' not in database
This does cause message processing fail. However, if I requeue the message, everything would become normal again. I suspect NEON database connection is interrupted somehow since we have two message flows are using NEON database.
Strangely, I don't get any error in WMQI error log or database or system.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
