I need to know how many config managers can one have on the same server?

What would be the ideal broker /configmanager configuration for dev, user test , QA and Prod environments with minimal licencing cost.?

I have 3x WIN2k servers ( for configMgrs) and 2x Unix servers (for brokers) and need 4x environments.

The answer is: 1 configmgr per system... brokers as many as your hardware can carry

Have a look at VMware to have multiple instances on one system!

You need a different queue manager per broker. This is an annoying restriction that IBM could have avoided by using a queue name prefix for each broker.
