Boss has asked me to research products that provide SSL encryption - authentication from HP Nonstop using MQS 5.1. If you have any experience please include this also. IBM V 5.3 is supposed to have it included but the GA date is way past our implementation date of this new app on MQ.

TIA for any help

We got a mail from comForte in this theme, and because we use some other comForte's products with successfully I forward to you

"NEW: comForte adds support for WebSphere MQ and Attunity Connect to its SSL encryption solution

The new release of SecurCS(tm), a flexible solution to add SSL encryption to any middleware on HP NonStop Servers and other platforms, adds support for IBM's WebSphere MQ(tm) and Attunity Connect(tm).

SecurCS for MQ enables SSL for the 5.1 release of WebSphere MQ running on a NonStop platform. SecurCS will smoothly interact with the built-in SSL of WebSphere MQ 5.3 which is already available for other platforms. As true any-to-any platform solution, SecurCS will also encrypt WebSphere MQ traffic between multiple 5.1 nodes running on either the NonStop platform or other platforms. comForte offers SecurCS at an attractive price for NonStop customers requiring enryption before a WebSphere MQ release with built-in SSL support becomes available for the platform.

SecurCS for Attunity Connect provides SSL encryption for both Attunity Client and Server running on HP NonStop or other platforms.

SecurCS has a small footprint (less than 10 files to install on the NonStop system!) and will be up and running in a matter of hours.

Supporting SSL on the NonStop Guardian for over three years, comForte is a leading provider for SSL encryption solutions on HP NonStop. Many customers are already using comForte solutions to encrypt Telnet, Middleware and FTP traffic.

For more information or to register for a free trial of SecurCS, go to http://www.comForte.com/intro.php4?ac=csmq&sid=463&target=securcs or send your request to sales@comForte.com."

Hank,

Quote:
What other products do you folks use?

- telnet: SecureTN (client: MR-Win6530)
- ftp: SecurFTP (client: SSLProxy)
- some special code written by comForte for logging and auditing network traffic

This relation is not my task, but I can ask about it.
