All,

I was reading in the Application Programming Reference about MQBACK call. According to APR on z/OS this can only be used in batch programs.

Can you not use backout with CICS transactions? Currently we only have 1 batch program, the rest are all CICS online transactions so this is new territory.

IN CICS, you use the EXEC CICS Syncpoint verbs, not MQ's.
