Hi,

We have a MQ setup which is working. We wanted to send messages to another application using the same MQ setup. We created a Remote queue on the sending side and used the same existing XMIT queue and existing SDR channel and created a corresponding Local Queue on the recieving side. The Remote queue is pointing to the new local queue .But we dont see the messages on the recieving side or we dont see them going to DLQ .Is there anyting wrong with the MQ setup.

Can anyone put some light on this.

Thanks
TC Venkatesan

Well things to check

1) DLQ on the receiving side
2) Did app doing the MQPUT Get a good reason code
3) Check XMITQ to see if messages are there
4) Check Channel Status.

Can multiple RemoreQueues on sending side use the same XMIT queue and SDR channel to send messages to multiple Local queues on the recieving side. I mean the RQ on sending side will point to the corresponding Local queue on the recieving side.

Thanks

yes multiple QRemote definitions can use the same xmitq to point to multiple local queues on the remote qmgr.
