Hi All
I am facing two different issues when I am working on the Control Center. My Control center and the Config Manager are running in two separate machines.
1. I get Java.nullpointer exception when I try to check in a new Message flow.
2. I am not able to import the cobol structure from the remote control center. But the same thing I am able import when I am doing it on the Control center running on the same machine as the Configuration Manager. The Error I am getting is "BIP1812S Internal Error in the Configuration Manager accessing Message Repository".
Could anyone please help me out in resolving these issues"?

Could you pls give your platform details. It seems you dont have any CSD installed.
To be able to import any file into message set from client machine, the file should reside on the server (Config Mgr machine) and then you can give server path (Drive name) when importing.

For point 2. The problem with trying to import a COBOL or C structure when running a Remote Control Center is the path/file name.
What happens is, when you open the dialog box and select the file to import, that fully qualified path/file name (on the Control Center machine) is sent to the ConfigMgr to do the actual import. Now, almost certainly, that path/file name isn't found. Hence the problem. The only way you can do this is to map the drives in such a way, that the fully qualified path is the same in the Control Center machine as it is on the ConfigMgr.

Or just, umm , put the file on the ConfigMgr machine and give the path to that instead...

Hi
Thanks for your replies. The second issue is resolved now. But just out of curiosity:
Initially, I had the file to be imported on the Config manager and tried giving the path to the file as \\IPAddr\FolderName\FileName. I had shared the folder also. This was working when I tried to import the file from the Control Center running on the Config Manager machine but wasn't when I did the same from a remote Control Center. Could anyone let me know the reason for this?
I am still not able to resolve my first issue regarding Java.lang.nullpointer Exception when checking in new Message Flows. The platform is Windows NT Server and CSD 5 has been applied both on the Config Manger and the Control Center machine.
