Hi,

Just another quickie. Can anyone tell me what the error below means

AMQ9208: Error on receive from host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

EXPLANATION:
An error occurred receiving data from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx over TCP/IP.
This may be due to a communications failure.
ACTION:
The return code from the TCP/IP (recv) call was 10054 (X'2746'). Record these
values and tell the systems administrator.

I got the same 10054 last night when our mainframe did an ipl and brought down their QM. I don't remember ever getting the "Channel ended abnormally" on a receiver program. I would think that the Mainframe would shut down ok and my receiver just wouldn't think there was anything to process on the NT side. Does this error represent a hand-shake or something that is going on between the two QM's?
