I know that this has been discussed numerous times on this board, but I couldn't find the exact answer to my issue.

I have mapped a message set MRM-TDS with a number of fields.
The last five fields are headers that can be optional (i.e. if one field is omitted it's the last one, if two fields are missing it's nr four and five and so on...)

I used the Occurrences fields (Min occurs=0), Max occurs=1), but if I cut the last field (using one record in initial tests) in my test file (RFHUTIL), I get "The bitstream of a TDS message contains less data than expected.".
A test file with all fields in it parses ok.

Could anyone please give me a hint?

Regards
