Hi everyone,
I?ve been wanting to get into statistics for a while now, but I keep hesitating because it feels a bit intimidating. I didn?t study math beyond high school, but I?m genuinely curious ? especially about how stats can be applied in the real world (like in research, data analysis, or even just understanding studies I read).
I?d love to hear how others got started. Did you follow a particular course or book that made it all click? Was there a moment where it suddenly made sense?
I?m not aiming to become a data scientist or anything, but I do want to be able to work with data confidently and interpret results properly ? even build up to using software like R or SPSS eventually.
Any advice, stories, or encouragement would be more than welcome. Just trying to figure out the best way to ease into it without getting overwhelmed.
