Application(MQ Client) facing error "SSL key repository: password stash file absent or unusable" when trying to connect qmgr in windows. key.sth is available and able to stash the file as well. Tried stashing the password and change password option via keytool, still same error.
Key files have permissions and those are generated with MQ 9.1.0.7 and have verified with another certificate(working one) from application end, still same error
May I know what else needs to be verified. |

In order for the channels in the queue manager to be able to access the key repository files, the permissions need to be correct.
Use the following command to list the files in your queue manager's SSL directory
If yours is missing permissions for the mqm group, issue the following command to make the correction.
icacls key.sth /grant "mqm":R

I would also make sure that the MQ ServiceID has full access to the stash file. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
