HI All,
Could you please help me with the below error. MQ is on 7.5.0.9 and when a client is transmitting messages, I am getting the below error on MQ end.
AMQ6048: DBCS error
EXPLANATION:
WebSphere MQ is unable to convert string data due to a DBCS error. Conversion
is from CCSID 1208 to CCSID 1252.
ACTION:
Check the WebSphere MQ Application Programming Reference Appendix and the
appropriate National Language Support publications to see if the CCSIDs are
supported by your system.
I checked on the conversion table. It is possible to convert from CCSID 1208 to CCSID 1252 as per MQ application programming reference |

Did you check the individual messages to verify that the CCSID on the message corresponds to the CCSID of the payload?
Say the message says CCSID is 1252 but the payload is really in 1208? or vice versa...
