Ensure that the defined cluster sender channel is to a full repository.
Just alter the repos/reposnl attribute to ' ' (space).
This will make the qmgr a partial repository. |
Hi All,
We were using 3 full repos QMs A,B and C.Now we want to change Cto partial repos. Even afer doing the above change of changing REPOS to space, when we display CLUSQMGR from A, C is showing up as full repos in A. but from B , its showing as partal repos.
Tried giving REFRESH CLUSTER but no luck.
Can anyone suggest what could be the reason. We are using MQ7.5.0.9 |

Split from the original (older) post HERE.
Stating the obvious fact, that you are using an out-of-support version.
Did you follow the instructions in the Knowledge Centre for moving an FR, from which can be extrapolated the instructions for demoting a third (never a good idea to have more than two IMHO) FR?
Did you remove 'orphan' CLUSSDR channels in each PR, to the old FR? Did you define new CLUSSDR channels in the those PRs to one of the remaining FRs? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

On QMgr A and B: Remove all CLUSSDR channels to C.
On QMgr C: Alter QMgr attribute REPOS and / or REPOSNL to blank (' ').
On QMgr C: Run "REFRESH CLSUSTER (<Cluster Name>) REPOS(YES)". _________________ Regards
