Hello All,

when i start the sender channel on my QM....the status is set to binding. what does that mean.

Is there a receiver channel setup on the other end? If so, verify the connection info and that the sender/receiver channels have the same name.

Check your system log to find out what is causing the channel to fail to start correctly.

QMgr is running on which Operating System??
if it is windows, check logs in Event Viewer logs,it will show the failure details.
