I have a Synchronous UPES activity with 10 data elements. The response will update only 2 fields and rest will be sent empty tags. When we receive it except for update elements rest all be blank. But we need those elements for further transitions in model. We don’t want to store the values of XML message that we sent in the table. I tried having Data Default connector in UPES activity. It did not gave the desired result.
Is there any way I can get the container elements when external program sends the empty tags?
Thanks,
Mahesh |

Is there any reason why, within you app that is sending the response to UPES, you are not getting the values of the input container and use those for OUTPUT container elements. |

Hi,
There are flags which will be set in earlier activity, is useful in the suceeding activity also. Application can give business data back but they are not ready to store workflow transition data.

If you want those data values, your UPES activity needs to send them out along with the updated values.
Or else you can have the data mapped with the data default connector,
Or at any later activity where you need all the data members, just map them from all the previous activities. _________________ -Ratan |

I got a workaround Solution for that by mapping at field level.
Thanks,
