Our company just acquired T24 Temenos product, that comes with IIB adapter. There is very little information on T24 IIB adapter, so I am looking for any feedback from users who utilized this product.
Greatly appreciate your input, many thanks - George. |

Can I suggest that you make your question more specific. What do you need to know? |

Thank you timber.
Here are some of questions:
- any adapter design documentation or design patterns, code samples?
- Does adapter support HA, load balancing, multi-instancing?
- Maintainability: any logs, traces, monitoring available?
- How dificult is it to use it during development cycle?
- any subjective opinion or experience feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hi George,
Do you have a test implementation of IIB and did you try to use the Adapter?
Typically replace the T24 Adapter with SAP Adapter or Siebel Adapter and that should answer most of your questions.
Of course there is nothing better like creating the test scenario and testing it...
Now I do hope the adapter came at least with its installation instructions... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

I did not have a chance to neither install, nor test it. That is part of the reason I need to know more about the product.
Cheers, George. |

Then you need to setup a test system so that you can learn about it.
Do you really want to work with a new 'thing' in production that no one in your company knows anything about?
What about the security aspects of the product?
Does the company offer any training on their product? If so, take it.
Is there any documentation online you can download and start to digest?
etc
etc
If your PHB's won't invest in a test system then frankly, it is time to look for a new role. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Or at least crash production often enough that they get the hint.
While looking for a new role. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

Many thanx for valuable advises.
My question still stands: Has anyone had real-life experience with T24 IIB adapter? If so, will greatly appreciate feedback.
Cheers, George. |

It looks like you are out of luck.
Think on the brightside, here's a great opportunity to become the subject matter expert for it in your company. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

There may be a forum or etc. at the Temenos website that you can join/discuss things on.
Most of the stuff at Temenos seems to require a login, so I can't tell what's there or not. _________________ chmod -R ugo-wx / |

Once again, thanks for the feedback.
Perhaps I will share my experience with the product after implementation.
Happy Friday to all |

I hope this might help; most of the environments I worked on, used to integrate with the T24 through MQ.
So, you can consider having a dedicated MQ for your T24, and using the IIB you can start communicating with it through MQ protocol. |

How finish the integration of the connectivity between IIB and Temenos, something in particular to consider? He did it by MQ protocol, can you describe it? Thanks. |
