Can someone point me to some good documentation on QSGs? Like a cookbook or redbook? Maybe something with disadvantages, advantages, limitations and requirements?

Hi Gina

There is a redbook called - WebSphere MQ in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex Environment which has a good section on setting up a QSG.

There is also a redbook called Parallel Sysplex Application Considerations which has an MQ consideration section which details some benefits to implementing QSGs.
