Hi,
Can some one please help me with this:

Scenario:
This project is to update customer information.
We have 20 fields for storing customer information (name, address, phone, ....IN MAINFRAME).

Problem 1:
The first activity is manual and the user enters the customer id and n number of fileds that are to be updated. So first activitiy's output container has n fields.
The second activity is an UPES and this activity validates the user id and returns the current customer data (20 fields).
The third activity is also an UPES and what this activity do is updating those new n fields in current 20 fields and gives an output containing updated customer information.

My question is what is the best practice(or way) to define which members in each container and how to map them? And also would like to know what kind of applications we need to achieve this? Can some one please guide me how to proceed with this problem.

Problem 2:
In the same project if one of the fields to be updated is name or phone number, an user has to review the update and approve it. This user, in reviewing the update, compares the current data with new data. For this user to review the data, We are thinking of providing only the n number of fields of current data and corresponding new data. Can someone tell me how to define members for these containers and how to map them.
Can some tell me how do we achieve this?

Problem 3:
I need to prepare the naming standards for Workflow in my company. Does anybody have naming standards for Workflow?

I do not know if I explained my questions in detail or not. Plesase reply me if I am not. I need to solve these problems as soon as possible. So please help me with these problems.

Thanks in advance.

Snan.

Problem 3: Pl refer to the redbook SG24-6590-00 for naming conventions.

Problem 1 and 2: May be little more details on what ur trying to do will help the members here. I suggest referring to the example fdls/models in workflow installation directory to understand the data mapping in little detail.

regards

Thanks Shekar.

Actually i figured out how to proceed with problems 1 and 2. I will refer to that redbook for naming standards.

Thanks again.
