How can we set the notificationtab for an activity to send notification after a specific time period.I hav tried ,but i dont know how to get the notification to the particular staff. |

Are you running the Scheduling Server?
Check using the Admin Utility, and If you are not running it start it up.
I suggest that you have a look at the manuals for Buildtime and Runtime.

Yes its an item which will show up on the worklist. It is actualy an ActivityInstanceNotification item

That IS correct... BUt there are many situations where that is never done... For instance I could send all notifications to a dummy user, then have a program which runs on a cron go out and grab the notifications say every 2 hours, and send emails to the appropriate party.
