The F5s are not a firewall.

You can create a VIP hosted on the F5s, you can tell the users to use the VIP, and if you don't do anything else, nothing prevents anyone from ignoring the VIP and hitting the Broker's IP address and port directly, bypassing the F5s.

I am talking about F5 AFM/ASM along with F5 GTM. We use it to stop/control web traffic.
