Hello all,

I'm using .net Client for sending Messages to a Queue Manager, it's working perfect. But now we have to send large files with "reference Messages" to a mqm from a client.

Is that possible?

I can't answer this question, because I can't find any sample!
Are there no samples or it is not possible to do following:

1. Set Message Header mqrmh on .net Client ( call some Exits)
2. Send a reference message to WebSphere Server
3. Read the message from other Client

If I remember correctly, reference messages only provide details about how another part of an application can send or receive some data.

It's up to the sending and receiving apps to actually transfer the file.

If you're looking to move contents of files, particularly large ones, you should look at Managed File Transfer or another file transfer solution, rahter than building your own.

There are so many problems involved in moving files that are just not apparent at first glance.
