Hi,

An error occurred during hand shake between SOAP Request from IIB and external web service. PFB the reference

Code:

'javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: com.ibm.jsse2.util.j: PKIX path building failed: java.security.cert.CertPathBuilderException: PKIXCertPathBuilderImpl could not build a valid CertPath.; internal cause is:
java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: The certificate issued by CN=AddTrust External CA Root, OU=AddTrust External TTP Network, O=AddTrust AB, C=SE is not trusted; internal cause is:
java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: Certificate chaining error'

This seems to be a simple error but I never came across this issue.

As per my understanding, I need to add signer of the externally hosted web service to my trust store. Can any one provide me with links on how to add a signer certificate.

There is a lot of discussion in this forum about this very thing. Have you reviewed them?
