Hi Friends,
We are running MQ 7.5 on AIX, while using NMON report for system monitoring, i could see a process called "amqrmppa " which is using more Disk space on a SPECIFIC TIME every day (8 PM to 9 PM).
as per my little knowledge "amqrmppa" is a MQ process .
why every day on a particular time it uses more DISK ?. for past 10 days this process uses More DISK on same time (8 PM to 9 PM) .
Kindly share your valuable suggestions.

And what does your investintion into what this process does reveal?
does it put Cat-videos onto YouTube or press the lauch buttone for a rocket or something else? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

As this event appears to occur at the same time regularly, I'd suggest looking for a business application process that executes at those specific times.
Do you have a job scheduler application? Check to see what it starts at that time?
Since amqrmppa supports mq channel activity, display channel status at that time to see which channel or channels are active and busy. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
