Hi All,

I have a requirement, wherein I have shift date and shift time.
If my shift date is 11-03-2015 and shift start time is 8pm and shift end time is 2am. Then I have to generate a output xml which will have shift start date as above i.e 11-03-2015 and shift end date as 12-03-2015.
Could anyone let me know how I can generate the shift end date?

Thanks!

Take the start timestamp and add a six hour ESQL INTERVAL to it.

Shift time can vary, so I cannot assume the time interval while writing the code, data coming through a input file

Code:

set mdRef.Expiry = CURRENT_GMTTIMESTAMP + cast(iMsgExpiry as INTERVAL hour);

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
