Hi,
After the search over Info Center and Google, related to Message broker [ version 8 ] Execution Group Statistics (specifically used Memory, CPU etc. over the time interval) where a limited number of main flows are deployed in it., I've used IS03 to understand that. Also configured MB Explorer to see the JVM Stats like Heap/Non-Heap Memory and Garbage Collection details.
With Product License limitation a broker can have only default EG, with All the message flows in it. BUT the question is, there is limit of every resource and one should know when we need to have another EG in place (with product license upgrade) before we deploy another application/set of flows in it that might cause it break down.
So, are these (aforementioned) the only utilities that can be used to figure out the resource limitations, here pointer is on EG.
Hope I am on the right track.
Thanks for your suggestions !! _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |

hi shashivarungupta,
just curious about your efforts, how do you check memory usage ? what statistics/tools do you use to check memory usage by messageflow/execution group/broker _________________ Best regards

Resource statistics? |
i think you hit the spot fjb_saper when reading resource statistics through message broker explorer (MBX) there is a tab with "Parsers" info.
This is the only tab where i can get some memory statistics, but i'm in trouble ... how should i read ApproxmenKb ? documentation is not helping here
shashivarungupta: i'm sorry to "stole" your post in my questions _________________ Best regards

Let me try put this way...
My question is somehow closely related with threads level information.
Cause an execution group has got all the applications deployed in it with additional instances (say 20 for each main message flow of every deployed application).
Now, how many threads broker is allocating at runtime which are consuming cpu & memory to get the work done i.e. to handle the incoming load. (it totally depends on what the load is.). But IS03 is the only way to give the thread statistics at some point or during a smaller interval?
(Similar kind of discussion I could see here , which talks about additional instances at message flow / node level.
If I see it at a bigger scale and see at EG level, the question will be what I have posted as OP.
At EG level to analyse the related facts, concentrate at MB Explorer to see the JVM Stats like Heap/Non-Heap Memory and Garbage Collection details, is the only way?
