The AMQRMPPA job is running fine to connect to channels, but there are a couple old channels that have been removed from the system, but the job does not recognize this, thus produces repetitive errors such as the one below.
Channel to remote machine '<IP>' is ending due to an error.
Channel 'BRTXXXXX_QM.XXXX' not found.
Channel 'BRTXXXXX_QM.XXXX' to host '<host> (<IP>)' ended
abnormally.
What changes do I have to make to prevent such errors from popping up? Is there a file that has be updated or other? Has anyone experienced this before? |

What error? Where and how do you see this output? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Removed how? Give commands and steps taken.
Were the channels sender or receiver?

Remove the channels correctly. We may be past this now.

I see the errors in the job log when I use the command WRKJOB AMQRMPPA to take the option 10. The error sample I provided is the main error that reappears after retrying.
Two receiver channels were removed from the system since they were old and no longer used.
The job appears to try and start them every day and retries each time, but they no longer exist. Is there a way to prevent the job from trying to start them, or is this something that has to be done on the other system that has it set up as sender channels? |

Unfortunately, the person who is no longer with the company removed them, so I do not know the steps taken to remove them.
The version is 7.1. |

dusktildawn,
It looks like someone has deleted the receiver channel BRTXXXXX_QM.XXXX from the remote system but you still have a sender channel on your system called BRTXXXXX_QM.XXXX that is still trying to make contact. If you are certain that you don't want this channel any more just delete your own local sender of the same name.
Cheers,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke

Option 10? What function does it perform? _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

The option 10 display the job log that is showing the error messages.
I will request for the local senders to be removed. Thanks! |
