Read, think, try, repeat.

There is a trial version you can download. You can then install it on your laptop or whatever.

There are a lot of developerWorks articles that talk about Broker.

There are several Redbooks that provide practical examples.

The product comes with a large number of Samples that you can import and experiment with.

Also, if you feel you are confused by something or stuck, you can actually get away with asking basic questions here, as long as you frame them correctly to demonstrate that you
  1. tried something
  2. examined the results
  3. reviewed the documentation
  4. and are still confused
