Hi Jedi / Voyager, thanks for your help mates.
Now the issue got fixed.
RCA - The group mqm is already available in the Active Directory which `mapped to the server where i tried to install the MQ. GID clash happens while installing RunTime rpm.
If above is root cause then, below are the solutions
Solution1 - Either to remove the mqm AD account mapping to the servers
Solution2 - Create the user mqm in AD account and do the mapping |

So when you look at your own posts, and you see the part that says "PurushSCB", and the other part that says "Novice"...
And then you look at someone else's post, and you see the part that says 'Jedi' or 'Voyager', why do you choose to call them that word, instead of the word or words that live in the same part that in your posts says 'PurushSCB'?

Please do not create the user ID mqm on any Windows machine as this will be in conflict with the local group mqm (where it exists and is needed). You (or your buddies) have shot yourself in the foot.
For UNIX/Linux, IBM MQ always runs as mqm (and don't add root to the mqm group or run any MQ command as root except those the KC tells you to run as root).
For Windows where domains are in use (almost everywhere), you will want one Domain service account to run MQ and Domain group. When you create your Qmgr on Windows, there are extra switches that only apply to Windows that you need to strongly consider. |
