Hi all,

when my friend sending one message for me, he is using my machine ipaddress in his sender channel,
we are using same port number, in his sender channel as well as in my rcvr channel also,
we are using same channel names
he gave all correct information like local queue name, remote queue manger name and so on
we are checking network also, it is also working
when am trying to start my channel it was not starting, in case of my friend machine it shows binding, in case of my machine it shows inactive state

then am verifying my error logs then it shows like this

6/11/2014 10:02:47 - Process(308.1) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzmgr0.exe)
Host(BLS6)

If your friend is failing to connect to you then I would have thought the best place to start would have been his error logs. It should show a message sequence something like....

a) Channel starting
b) Channel error
c) Channel failed to start because of reason given above

We would, of course, be interested in the reason given.

Cheers,
Paul.

Which implies that there is an issue between your system and your friends'.

You state your friend's SDR channel definition is in BIND, which suggests an inbound/outbound network issue, e.g. firewall. Your firewall may be blocking the response, or his/hesr. Just because you can get out to him/her successfully does not mean he/she can get to you.

As has been suggested, contact your friend and ask that he/she examine their queue manager logs and identify the reason why your end is not running.
