Hi All,
I am trying to setup the sample provided by IIBv9 for Business Activity Monitoring.
However, I am facing challenges.
I am new to BAM though.
I am getting the following error
-----------------------------------------------------------
[3/17/14 13:53:47:069 UTC] 00000059 LocalExceptio E CNTR0019E: EJB threw an unexpected (non-declared) exception during invocation of method "onMessage". Exception data: com.ibm.ejs.container.CreateFailureException: ; nested exception is:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Context: BAMCell01/clusters/bmde.AppTarget, name: com/ibm/events/configuration/emitter/Default: First component in name configuration/emitter/Default not found.
at com.ibm.ejs.container.MessageDrivenBeanO.initialize(MessageDrivenBeanO.java:367)
....
Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Context: BAMCell01/clusters/bmde.AppTarget, name: com/ibm/events/configuration/emitter/Default: First component in name configuration/emitter/Default not found.
at com.ibm.wmb.event.cbe.WMBMDBEmitterBean.ejbCreate(WMBMDBEmitterBean.java:91)
--------------------------------------------------
I followed all the steps given in the sample. Not sure though what is going wrong.
I see that this example is for BAMv7.
I have version 7.5, would this make a difference?
Apologies if I have posted this under WMB Support forum. Did not find any BAM support hence thought of using this.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Pats ...

A correction in the info provided.
IBM BAM version is 8.0.1 and not 7.5

OK ... got this resolved ....
The MDB that is provided for this sample needs to be deployed onto the "Support" node or application server.
The mentioned error is because the MDB is trying to access setting those are done on the "Support" node/app server rather than the "AppTarget" node/app server.
I deployed the MDB and did the required configurations on "Support" node/app server and the issue was resolved.
Hope this helps. |
