Hello All,

I am new to MB.....

we have windows machine with MB v8.0.0.0 installed. Here I created some message flows and execution groups. we can deploy message flows by just drag and drop into execution group. They are working fine.

Now I am trying to deploy the same message flow into the execution group of a remore broker, but it is giving me the below error ...
Can we deploy a message flow without building bar file into

The BAR File contains .msgflow files and this broker does not support them. To deploy this BAR file to the target broker save the BAR file selecting the 'Compile and in-line resources option'.

Check that,
1. The broker is running.
2. The TCP/IP port of the queue manager is active if it is remote.
Though, remote broker is running and TCP/IP port is active. Please provide me solution.

What is the version of your toolkit and the remote broker? It might be due to version of the remote broker didn't support the feature.

Does your flow use any functionality that was introduced with 8.0.0.1?

By the way, 8.0.0.0 (and 8.0.0.1) for that matter are very buggy releases. you should update to 8.0.0.2 at the very minimum.

So, are you surprised that a 8.0.0.1 feature does not work with a 8.0.0.0 broker?

Also, WMB for z or zLinux any version also requires the "inline" compile. Always bring all your components to the current maintenance (and be sure all the developers have their Toolkits at exactly the same level or you will have trouble sharing code).

As long as the runtime is at 8.0.0.1 or later, then you should be able to deploy .msgflow files to any supported runtime platform (z/Linux and z/OS included) without needing to select "compile and in-line resources"?
