Does anyone know if Broker 6.0 supports CONTAINS.
I have it in the 6.1.0.8 toolkit help but can't find a link to any v6.0 documentation.
A link or confirmation would be nice.
Thanks to all as always.

If memory serves it doesn't, and there's no good reason to be changing anything using v6.0 ESQL.
WMBv6.0 is dead. Let it rest in peace, and all the code migrate quietly into that v6.1 night. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

NO. and as Vitor said, you need to upgrade.
And , you can also code it and try it. If it fails, then whether it is supported or not, is irrelevant, because your WMB version is unsupported !! |

Being a packrat, I still have the old ESQL manuals. The CONTAINS() function first appears in v6.1 |

If memory serves, it first appeared in 6.1.0.4...

Am I in a time-warp? I thought WMB 6.1 was unsupported as well. _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

The migration is underway. We are still supporting a legacy which is going quiet into the night.
Thanks,
