In MQ 7.5 I was trying to use Managed file transfer edition. For that I have created agents by developing a message flow which contains FTEInput and FTEOutput nodes and deployed that flow. Then I got the agent name which I was specifying in FTEOutput node.In MQExplorer I sent a sample transfer from file to file. When I was trying to send data from file to queue ,it showing an error message like " BFGIO0197E:An attempt to write to a queue was rejected by the destination agent. The agent must have enableQueueInputOutput=true set in the agent.properties file to support transferring to a queue." I have searched for the agent.properties file but I could not find it anywhere on my machine. can anyone please tell me what went wrong with this ? |

Nit-picking I know, but file transfer in WMQ v7.5 is now called Managed File Transfer...
...and have you tried searching the Info Centre using the search term agent.properties? (that's a very, very, bug hint). _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

You shouldn't use IIB/MB to create standalone agents.
You shouldn't use FTEInput/FTEOutput agents for file to queue or queue to file. You should use an IIB/MB message flow to do file to queue or queue to file, using the FTEInput/FTEOutput nodes to do the "file" half.
If you want to learn FTE, learn FTE.
If you want to learn WMB/IIB, then learn that.
Don't try to learn both at once. |
