Hi,

I am genearting a GUID from broker and it is in this format

Code:

B9498956-3CEC-11E3-AC9F-0A1A04140000

I am storing this GUID in DB as datatype uniqueidentifier.

Code:

It appers in DB sql server as above.But when i am quering back and placing in a variable (char) it is in this format X'582735363839343962396563336365333131616339663061'
and if the variable is blob 568949b9ec3ce311ac9f0a1a04140000.

How do i get the exact format as in Db so that my query will be successful.

Why not use the UIDASCHAR function and store it as a CHAR (or variant thereof), nvarchar etc?

In DB it has to be uniqueidentifier.
