Think its time to hit the Manuals.

Take a look at the messages in the manuals and you would find all the reasons why you would get these return codes. ONce you analyze them, you could code accordingly in your program. There is no "magic way" out of this that everyone follows. Everybody codes according to their needs.

2101 is object damanaged. So, what would you do, being an app. Is there anything that you can do. No. So, just print out the same and exit.

This error usually is accompanied by an FFST, check to see what it is and investigate further.

Cheers

Looks like an MQSeries object is damaged. Probably a queue? In which case this can only be recovered if you are using linear logging (use rcrmqobj command to restore the object from the linear logs).

If you are not unsing linear logging thewn the best you can do is delete the object, and re-create it - if a local queue losing any data that the object may have contained. Alternatively you could recover the qmgr to a previous backup?

Perhaps you could be more verbose with your questions in future?! Tell us what OS, what version what you are doing to get the error etc etc.

saveqmgr works ONLY on objects that are accessible. And since in your case you cannot, you are getting 2101.

Unless you have some sort of backing up mechanism in place, there is NO way you can resolve this error other than recreating the queue that throws this error.
