I have read many IBM info docs and materials . But as I am a beginner and I have requirement I am fudging hard as I don't have practical experience.
I want to understand the usage of LocalEnvironment tree and Environment Tree and also the difference between these two and how can we use it.
Please post some simple examples so that I can understand better. |

Please see my reply to one of your other posts.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

Then push back on whoever gave you the requirement. Or make sure they know you don't have the needed knowledge to perform the task they gave you and are just bluffing (sorry, fudging) your way through the job they're paying you to do.

This, even more than your other posts, is clearly documented. There are huge rafts of text describing the Local Environment tree (which has some very specifc uses).

The documentation is full of them.
Get training. This is a lousy place to learn how to use WMB. It'll take you ages & not give you quality _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Guys I have gone through documents.. Trust me documents doesn't help where as discussion and analysing helps a lot..
If you know something even if its basic u can explain it to me . U will understand even better.. Things are always simple unless and until its analysed. U r not intersted to let me know that shows may be even you are confused with these concepts like me.. |

A simple search using Mr Google for
message broker local environment vs environment
returned lots of useful information _________________ WMQ User since 1999

The difference *is* covered comprehensively in the documentation and, if you search this forum you will find many similar questions.
It is a pretty straight-forward concept so clearly you are in need of some basic product training. However you can get some of the way yourself by using your own initiative, trying out samples from those provided and creating your own simple flows to learn about one specific aspect of MB behaviour (I have been using this product for more than 9 years and I still do this regularly, it's a great way to gain a deeper understanding). In my experience this will put you in a much stronger position as a software professional than just being spoon-fed answers. So go on, give it a try, and if you genuinely get stuck, come back here and :-
a. Explain what you are trying to do as simply as you can
b. Tell us what you have tried (or your own opinion if it's a thought experiment)
c. Show us what you have observed from (b).
Note if you miss out step (b) you are likely to get much less sympathy since it often indicates you can't be bothered to make the effort. Remember this is a forum where we are pooling our collective experience to help each other out, not a training site. The only person that really understands your specific context is you, so you need to do most of the heavy lifting, ok.
In this case you could start by thinking why it is that one of the named locations has the word 'Local' in it, and one does not ?

Yes, you've found me out. The difference between LocalEnvironment & Environment has always confused me and I've just struggled through the last 12 years of working with the product managing without this knowledge as best I can. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
