Hi All,
We are facing a strange issue with respect to a fixed length message sent fro Mainframe with RFH2 header-> usr folder.
We have a fixed length message of 160 characters and Around 1300 chracters of data in MQRFH2 header usr folder. This message is sent from a Mainframe system using MQ Protocol. When the Mainframe screen is checked we can see that 160 characters are sent in the Body of the message however when it reaches queue and it is read from the RfhUtil we see only 120 chracters are coming in the Body part and 1340 Characters in Header.
What could be the issue, why we see 40 chracters are missing from the Body when browsed from the Queue.
Regards
Satya |

CodedCharSetId not correct in the MQMD or the MQRFH2? _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too. |

Thanks for the reply.
Fix is applied in the Cobol program. This resolved the issue.
Now we are getting 160 chracters in Body and 1300 chracters in the Header. |

What was the fix? UTF-8 being specified instead of a single-byte encoding? _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too. |
