Yes, I agree. Unless one means the error logs rather than the transactional logs, one generally doesn't need to read or understand the active logs.

Since dmpmqlog cannot be run while the qmgr is running, and the qmgr can't be running while dmpmqlog is running, no logs will be "active" if the qmgr ended normally. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.
