And just how is this related to WMQ? Are you asking in relation to XA? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

There are many similar questions in this forum. Have you looked at any of these?
What have you tried for yourself?
Have you been able to get the data with an ESQL compute node
Does the ODBC connection work?
Does using the 'mqsicvp' command work?
All of this information is available in the InfoCentre.
Please tell us what you have tried and what the results were. We are not here to do your job for you. And to anticipate one of my colleagues responses (unless he is at Impact this week),
Have you attended any of the training classes for this product? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Have you tried verifying the connection to the ODBC Database using the 'mqsicvp' command?
If you have not told broker about the ODBC connection using the 'mqsisetdbparms' command then you will need to use that first.
There are plenty of other posts on this forum relating to this. Please tell us what you have tried and if it fails, how it fails. So far you have not supplied any of this information.
We work on the principle of 'self-help' here. We are here to help you learn. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Database is one word, not two. The 'b' is not capitalized.
Examples are provided with the toolkit, in the InfoCentre, and in the required training class.

Sir i am trying to use the mqsisetdbparams to configure the datasource
and trying to verify it ... its shows success in first command but during
verification it shows error.
Quoted"C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\8.0.0.0>mqsisetdbparms Test -n TESTDB -u db2admin -p d
b2@admin
BIP8071I: Successful command completion.
C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\8.0.0.0>mqsicvp Test -n DBTEST
BIP8272E: Datasource 'DBTEST' has not been associated with broker 'Test'.
This invocation of the mqsicvp command requires that the datasource name has bee
n associated with the broker, using the mqsisetdbparms command.
Check that this datasource has been associated with the broker." |

You've set up a database DSN that isn't accessable to the WMB or it's user. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
