Hi,

I am using 7.1.0.0. Sometimes it is showing "hostname" in CONNNAME parameter and sometime it is showing the ip addresss corresponding to that hostname.

For e.g,


display chs (QM1.TO.QM2)
1 : display chs (QM1.TO.QM2)
AMQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(QM1.TO.QM2) CHLTYPE(SDR)
CONNAME(01HW483456:1415) CURRENT
RQMNAME( ) STATUS(RETRYING)
SUBSTATE( ) XMITQ(TQ)



Can anyone please let me know when it shows hostname and when it shows ip address in channel status?

When the channel is running it resolves to the ip and you will see the ip.
