Hi All

I am trying to apply WMB 7.0.0.5 FP on WIN2008R2 MQ7.0.1.9

After applying I get the following during a deploy

BIP4395E: Java exception: 'com.ibm.broker.schemadeploy.MbXSDInternalError';
thrown from class name: 'com.ibm.broker.schemadeploy.MbXSDDeployDirector',
method name: 'compileMessageSetSchemas',
file: 'MbXSDDeployDirector.java', line: '517'

com.ibm.broker.schemadeploy.MbXSDInternalError:
InvocationTargetException thrown while preprocessing schemas
Exception thrown while registering schemas :
org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl
incompatible with javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory

Best info I can find states

This error occurs when other versions of the same Xerces classes are loaded from outside the WMB installation

Question

If all was good on 7.0.0.1 why would I get this just from applying 7.0.0.5

When I remove 7.0.0.5 the deploy go through with no issues ?

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks
Brian

I'd probably reboot after applying the 7.0.0.5 fixpack. Windows can be terribly picky about loading DLL's. I wouldn't start the broker until after the reboot.

If that fails, then it is PMR Time.

If you raise one please post the results here so that others can benefit from your experience. This is especially important if your probem needs an Ifix. If you post that number here, others can raise a PMR and request the ame ifix as you received.

We had a similar problem. Reimport the offending message set. Open a PMR.

Hi

an update on the solution your milage may vary

- update the xercesImpl-2.8.1.jar file from <Installation path>/webservices/prereqs/ (we might need to raise this with IBM as this jar file is being replaced with the same file with empty classes on it)
- add the full path in the CLASSPATH (<Installation path>/webservices/prereqs/xercesImpl-2.8.1.jar)
- update the Fix pack compatibility of the broker: mqsichangebroker <broker name> -f 7.0.0.5
- restart the broker.

For some reason FP 7.0.0.5 creates a 1 kb xercesImpl-2.8.1.jar which is missing the classes

Hope this helps
