Dear Masters!
I cannot find a documentation about the following:
I have a WMB v7 environment configured in HACMP, with two nodes.
From a WMB7 host, I have to call a http webservice (HTTP Request node) on a remote host.
I have two ip addresses on my WMB7 host, one is the host, other is the service ip.
Can I modify somehow, which ip address will be send the request from?

So you somehow need to make sure that the sending address of an HTTP Request is always the same IP address?
It is only the sending address that you need to set, not the receiving address?
I'm not sure you can set this - I simply don't remember. But either way, it shouldn't really matter. Both hosts that could run broker should be authorized as viable source addresses. |

You may have to use a proxy server, in order to connect a broker running on an internal network to an external address.
I have similar problems with HA source addresses and WMB SFTP - I asked IBM to offer the option to specify a bind address on the fileoutput node (a feature which the SFTP line command supports) but they rejected my request. |

Yes, You are right!
But as 'zpat' told me, maybe I have to use a proxy server. |

That is very strange. In WMQ, a 'Local communication address' can be set on channels. Where is it in WMB...
The only fast solution of course, to set the firewall rules both to host and service ip addresses.
