I'm using Broker 8.0.0.0
The MQ version is 7.0.1.0

Our requirement is to keep the track of the start time of a service. This service will have the message published and subscribed multiple times. So we thought of keeping the start time of the first flow in the MQRFH2 usr section.
But unfortunately on publishing the message, we are loosing the RFH2 usr information. But, when we are trying to publish the message without the usr section, the message seems to be doing fine. Also putting the message with usr section directly to a queue is working fine.
The problem is only when we are trying to merge the two functionalities. Are we missing something ??

Regards
Som

You probably need to be at a higher fixpack than 7.0.1.0 to get support for MB v8.0.0.0.

MQ v7 and later doesn't use the RFH2, it uses Message Properties instead. Despite that, Broker has not been updated to support Properties, even after two separate versions that state that they support mq V7.

You don't say how you are determining that you are 'loosing the RFH2 usr information'. It may simply be that it's been mapped into properties and you don't see it when you look for an RFH2.

Otherwise look at PROPCTL.
